4.5 stars. Classic fantasy anime.
I paid for and finished Book 1 of Sword Art Online. And just out of curiosity, I searched the web to see if there was an animated version of it. There is.
It lives on Crunchroll, next to the anime version of Solo Leveling. And since I’m waiting for Season 2 of Solo Leveling, I don’t mind watching the anime version of Sword Art Online.
The anime version is nice. They stick to the story fairly faithfully, so my review of the book is still valid.
Watching the anime is like reading the book again, which is fine.
