5 stars. A really enjoyable story about an MC who gains levels by helping people.
Arnold was accidentally iseaki’d into another world, and woke up in someone else’s body. That person was assigned the farmer class at birth, and so Arnold had no choice but to continue to be a farmer.
You can only gain experience in your class. Farmers can only gain experience through farming, and not cooking, killing monsters, or music.
The thing is, Arnold hated farming. He was a city boy, and found the thought of raising animals, tilling soil, planting seeds to be utterly boring.
So Arnold did what iseaki’d people do, he found a loophole. He found a way to gain experience on his farm but not through farming.
The things I enjoyed about this series:
- A likeable MC who seems to be a nice guy
- Interesting side-characters
- A pet familiar who is not annoying, and doesn’t distract from the main story
- A bad guy to push the story forward
- Easy to read
Overall, it’s a nice adventure and I’ve recently re-read it a second time.
